Generate strong passwords. Keep them to yourself.
SecureKey creates random passwords and estimates how well yours hold up. Everything runs in this browser tab. Nothing is sent, saved, or logged.
Password generator
Pick a length and character types, then generate up to 10 passwords at once.
Colors: letters white, numbers cyan, symbols purple. Use Replace to swap a single password for a new one.
Password strength checker
Type or paste a password. It is analyzed on this page only and is never stored or transmitted.
This score is an estimate based on length, character variety, and common patterns. It cannot know if a password appeared in a data breach, and it does not guarantee security. A long random password that is unique to one account is the safest choice.
Security tips
Use a unique password for every account
If one site leaks your password, reused passwords let attackers into your other accounts.
Prefer long, randomly generated passwords
Length and randomness matter more than clever substitutions. Aim for 16 characters or more.
Avoid personal information and patterns
Names, birthdays, pet names, keyboard walks like qwerty, and sequences like 1234 are guessed first.
Turn on two-factor authentication
A second step protects your account even if your password is stolen. Prefer an authenticator app or security key over SMS.
Consider a reputable password manager
It remembers long random passwords for you, so you only need to memorize one strong master password.
Never share your passwords
No legitimate support team will ask for your password. Be wary of links in emails and messages asking you to sign in.
